Coventry & Warwickshire Food and Drink Awards 2008
We WON! We WON!
Best Restaurant
Best Food and Drink Experience
Chapel House was awarded 'Best Restaurant' and 'Best Food and Drink Experience' at a Gala Awards dinner held at Coventry's Ricoh Arena on Tuesday 18th November to celebrate the Coventry and Warwickshire Food and Drink Awards 2008.
Richard Napper thanked all his suppliers, some of whom had won awards in other categories: "Because," he said, "it makes it much easier to produce a first class meal when you can use first class ingredients".
|
|
Now in its seventh year, the overall aim of the popular awards scheme continues to champion and reward quality, excellence and the innovative use of local produce and to encourage all catering and retail outlets within the region to source their supplies locally wherever possible.
Around 150 businesses and individuals from across the region attended the awards ceremony to find out which were fortunate enough to scoop an award. Awards were given for ‘Best Restaurant’, ‘Best Dining Pub’, ‘’Best International Restaurant’ ‘Best Breakfast’, ‘Best Coffee House/Tea Shop’, ‘Best Restaurant Café within a Visitor Attraction’, ‘Best Local Food or Drink Producer’, ‘Champion of Local Produce – Retailer’ ‘Champion of Local Produce – Food Service’, ‘Best Food and Drink Experience’ and ‘Excellence in Customer Service and Quality’.
Each of the winners were rewarded with a gleaming trophy and certificate and the sought-after title of best in Coventry & Warwickshire for 2008.

Chapel House awarded AA Rosette
and Five Star rating
Chapel House has been awarded a coveted AA Rosette for the quality of our restaurant, and the highest rating for our guest accommodation.
Restaurant with Rooms
Listed by the AA as a 'Restaurant with Rooms' Chapel House, with 5 stars is one of the top 10% of all AA-listed guest accommodation in Warwickshire and the only 5-star establishment in North Warwickshire.
chapelhouse.eu
Watch out for our new domain name in the form of our web and email addresses:
www.chapelhouse.eu
and
info@chapelhouse.eu
We still own our old domain name, chapelhousehotel.co.uk and it can still be used to reach us, but the new name will appear on all literature in future.
If you are wondering why it is .eu rather than .co.uk , it is because .eu was the only suffix available - chapelhouse.co.uk belongs to a used car dealership and has nothing to do with us!
